United Methodist Women
First United Methodist Church, Winter Park has five United Methodist Women's circles that function as outlets for service projects, support groups, and fellowship to nurture close relationships. Much of their activities are focused on building awareness of various outreach programs, as well as developing service projects and fundraisers for worthy causes inside and outside the church. Each UMW circle is targeted for a different age range. The stated purpose of the United Methodist Women is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
M.O.M.S. (Ministry of Mothers Sharing)
M.O.M.S. is an opportunity for women to develop self-esteem, relationship skills and a more defined sense of their own spirituality at a time when they are facing the difficult challenges of raising a family.
