South Street Ministry Director

Jim Berlau has been appointed to our staff to provide leadership at the South Street Ministry. He has served as director of student ministries and assistant to the pastor at Peace United Methodist Church for over ten years. For the past three years, Jim has been a certified candidate for becoming an Ordained Elder within the United Methodist Church. He is currently working on attaining his master of divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary.
Jim eagerly anticipates the opportunity to bring his leadership to the South Street Ministry. He believes this ministry, with its focus on outreach and unifying a diverse community, is the future of the church. “May God bless the efforts of this congregation as we seek to be the Church in the South Street area, transforming the community through the strength of the Lord and for the glory of God.” Click here to read more about Jim Berlau.

- Faith in Action weekend, April 29-May1, 2011, brought a lot of our church members to the South Street campus to do everything from spring cleaning to building a children's library. Check out the Faith in Action page for pictures from that weekend.
