Coalition for the Homeless

Following our vision to be on the move to make a difference through Jesus Christ, First United Methodist Church of Winter Park is reaching out to those who are hungry through financial support of and serving at the Coalition for the Homeless each month.

We serve the first Thursday of each month.

Time: Arrive at 5:45 pm.  The serving time is 6 to 7 pm
Location of the Coalition: 639 W. Central Blvd., Orlando map

There is a parking lot in front of the main building that can be accessed off of Terry or Parramore.  Check in at the main desk which is through the double doors.  Look for the aqua awning over the entrance.  Once you have checked in, you will be directed to the serving area.

Dress in comfortable clothing and leave all personal items in the trunk of your car as there is no place to keep items while you are serving.

Our serving consists of standing in a serving line and placing the food on plates and pouring drinks for the residents.

We will ask one person from each team to lead a prayer for the serving team and for those you are serving who may see a glimpse of Christ through you.
