Adult Music Ministry

Chancel Choir - Wednesday, 7:15 - 8:30 pm
The Chancel Choir is the primary worship choir of the music ministry.  They rehearse and sing weekly in worship in addition to special events and seasonal music presentations.  Rehearsals resume August 20.  Nursery is provided.

Adult Mixed Ensemble (auditioned) - Wednesday, 6:15 - 7:10 pm
An auditioned mixed adult ensemble that rehearses weekly and sings regularly in worship.  Music reading and advanced vocal skills strongly encouraged.  Auditions begin August 20 at 5:30 pm in the choir room.  Email Michael Roberts for audition times and details.  Nursery is provided.

Grace Ensemble (women) - Thursday, 11 am -  noon
A non-auditioned adult women's ensemble that rehearses weekly and sings regularly in worship.  The ensemble performs traditional, contemporary, secular and sacred music with worship responsibilities as well as community outreach and service.  Rehearsals resume August 28.  Nursery is provided.

Women's Chamber Choir - Wednesday (monthly), 7 - 7:30 pm
An adult women's chamber ensemble that rehearses the first Wednesday of the month, sings monthly in worship and performs a variety of choral literature.  Ensemble membership is by the director's recommendation.

Men's Choir - rehearses quarterly as announced
The Men's Choir rehearses 30 minutes before the worship service in which they are singing.  If you would like to be a part of the Men's Choir simply attend the rehearsal prior to the service in which they are performing.

Youth Music Ministry

Youth Choir - Sunday, 5 - 6 pm
The Youth Choir is the primary youth worship choir.  They rehearse weekly and sing regularly in worship as well as special events.  They tour every summer, performing a Christian based musical which is funded mainly through a spring dinner theatre and fundraisers.  A minimum required attendance must be maintained to participate.  Rehearsals resume August 24.

Senior High Ensemble (auditioned) - rehearsal times to be announced
An auditioned mixed youth ensemble that rehearses weekly and sings regularly in worship.  Music reading and advanced vocal skills strongly encouraged.  Ensemble members must be an active member of the Youth Choir.  Auditions begin August 24 at 3 pm in the choir room.  Email Michael Roberts for audition times and details.

Middle School Girls Ensemble (auditioned) - rehearsal times to be announced
An auditioned middle school girls ensemble that rehearses weekly and sings regularly in worship.  Music reading and advanced vocal skills strongly encouraged.  Ensemble members must be an active member of the Youth Choir.  Auditions begin September 7 at 3 pm in the choir room.  Email Michael Roberts for audition times and details.

Middle School Boys Ensemble - rehearsal times to be announced
A non-auditioned boys ensemble that rehearses weekly and sings in worship.

Graded Choir Ministry

Preschool 4 & 5 Music Time - Wednesday, 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Music activity time for preschool 4 and 5 year olds.  This is not a performance based choir, but a learning based music time which will include singing, playing instruments, movement and worship skills.

Grades 1-2 Choir - Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Students will enjoy a variety of activities including choir singing and, in the fall, rotating small group offerings of hand chimes, Orff instruments, recorders, movement and dance, drama and worship skills.  In the second semester students may choose the group which they would like to explore in more depth.

Grades 3-5 Choir - Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Students will enjoy a variety of activities including choir singing and, in the fall, rotating small group offerings of hand chimes, Orff instruments, recorders, movement and dance, drama and worship skills.  In the second semester students may choose the group which they would like to explore in more depth.

Handbell Ministry

Celebration Handbells - Sunday, 6 - 7 pm
An adult bell choir for experienced players that rehearses weekly and plays regularly in worship as well as community outreach, special events and seasonal music presentations.  Rehearsals resume August 24.  Music reading skills strongly encouraged.

Adult Handbells - rehearsal times to be announced
An adult bell choir that will rehearse weekly and play in worship as well as community outreach events.  Rehearsal times will be determined by leadership and choir membership.  Music reading skills strongly encouraged.

Youth Handbells - rehearsal times to be announced
A youth bell choir that will rehearse weekly and play in worship as well as community outreach events.  Rehearsal times will be determined by leadership and choir membership.  Music reading skills strongly encouraged.

Instrumental Ministry

Church Orchestra - Wednesday, 5:15 - 6:15 pm
Youth (senior high) through adult instrumentalists will rehearse weekly and perform special music and accompaniment for various worship services and seasonal presentations.  Players should be at a moderately advanced level.

Piano players are need for all choirs and ensembles!
