Highway 45 . . . on the road to Mid-High
Highway 45 is a time for fellowship and fun for 4th and 5th graders.  They spend time together building church friendships as they participate in fun activities like bowling, mini-putt golf, swimming, movies, etc.

 2008-2009 Highway 45 tentative dates and activities are:

• October 5th   Roller Skating. 
• November 8th (Saturday)   Helping at Destiny Foundation. 
• February 8th  Girls Only - All Fired Up.
• March 8th  Boys Only Bowling
• April 19th
• May 17th  Pool/Water Activity

JUMP! is fellowship and fun for 5th graders. 

The 2009 JUMP! dates are:

• January 25
• February 22
• March 22.

Created By God is a workshop for parents and fifth graders offering a comprehensive introduction to human sexuality - anatomy, attitudes, growth and development, relationships, reproduction, responsibility and safety - built on a foundation of faith.

A comprehensive, faith-based study of human sexuality for 5th graders and their parents or guardians, Created by God was developed by Dr. James H. Ritchie, Jr., a pastor, religious educator, writer, composer, husband, father, and grandfather.

Dr. Ritchie will be at the Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp leading us in this amazing retreat. This format allows parents and children to spend a weekend together in a retreat setting.  Parents will be engaged in workshops and other activties while their children are attending some of the Created by God sessions.

Parents and children will be together for worship times, a ropes courses, and some of the Created by God sessions.

Mission

• To offer reliable information to young persons about human sexuality— anatomy, attitudes, growth and development, relationships, reproduction, responsibility, and safety—built on a foundation of faith.
• To create arenas of intimacy where young persons feel free to ask all of their questions.
• To nurture communication skills between parents and preteens.
  Registration opens February 6, 2009, and space is limited. 

Register directly with Warren W. Willis Camp.  Forms are online at www.warrenwilliscamp.org.  The cost is $100.00 per person.   At least one parent or guardian must attend with their child.
