Having appeared on Oprah for his expertise in creating intimacy in even the most difficult relationships, Rick Brown is recognized as a “therapist’s therapist”- the one professionals are most likely to turn to for help with their own marital and relationship issues. With his casual relaxed style and use of humor, Rick reminds everyone that “we are all OK, just hard to live with from time to time.” In this four part program he will encourage participants to learn about themselves and how to use their relationships to foster emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth.
Rick Brown has presented his work to audiences around the world in some of the most unique places- from a castle for the Royal Family of Denmark and their closest friends to the far corners of Namibia, Africa. He appears regularly as a relationship expert for Fox TV, has served as the therapist for the Orlando Magic, and has spoken to many major companies including IBM, Johnson and Johnson, as well as banks, hospitals and churches. As a psychotherapist with over 33 years of clinical experience, he has trained hundreds of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals in the theory and practice of martial therapy.
Rick is a graduate of Florida State University, Princeton and Union Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Celeste, have been married for 34 years and have three adult children. They live here in our Winter Park community.
