Worship Services
Traditional Service in the Sanctuary
8:30 am and 11 am
These services follow a traditional United Methodist format with liturgy, hymns, sermon and choral music provided by ensembles, choirs and soloists.
Holy Communion is served in each service the first Sunday of every month.
Additionally, at the 11 am service, a short lesson is presented just for children.
Contemporary Service in the Family Life Center
9:45 am
This is a praise and worship service with contemporary music provided by a band and vocalists.
Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of every month.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend any service. Childcare is available during worship services for children from birth through age five in the Asbury Building. Ushers will give direction.
Prayer and Healing Service
Our church holds prayer and healing service once a month. Supported by the Gathered in His Name prayer group, the service features a short devotion by one of the clergy, a time of silent prayer, a time for people to be prayed for by the prayer team, music, and communion.
Services take place in the Marcy Chapel and meet on third Sundays at 6p.
The Wellsprings Service in the Chapel
The Wellsprings Service is a contemplative worship service that draws on ancient wellsprings of the Christian tradition as we seek to know God's presence in our present world. Led by Rev. Jan Richardson, Visiting Artist at FUMC, Winter Park, and singer-songwriter Garrison Doles, the Wellsprings Service offers silence, song, conversation, Communion, and other forms of prayer and reflection in an informal space of quiet hospitality. For more information you may visit the Wellsprings website.
