First United Methodist Church of Winter Park is a church on the move to make a difference through Jesus Christ.  We're a family of believers eager to welcome others into our midst and to share ourselves and our resources with the larger community.  We're a congregation with a rich history of over 120 years that values the importance of tradition and at the same time is intentional about presenting the Christian faith in ways that assure its relevance in our unique times.

We offer three worship services every Sunday morning, including one with a contemporary format, and a variety of ministry options for children, youth, and adults of all ages.  First United Methodist Church is a place to belong, a place to become, and a place to make a difference.

Top 10 things you'll need to know about your first visit to FUMC, Winter Park

  1. We are located at 125 N. Interlachen Avenue.  It's the corner of Interlachen Avenue and Morse Blvd.  Click here for a map.

  4. We offer two types of services -- traditional and contemporary.  The traditional services are held in the Sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00.  The contemporary service is held in the Family Life Center at 9:45.
  5. There is childcare offered for all Sunday services, starting at 8:15 a.m. until 12:00 (or a little later if the service runs over).  Click here for specifics
  6. There are Sunday School classes for adults.  Click here for a list of these classes.  Please feel free to walk into any of these classes.
  7. You do not have to be a member of the church to participate in worship, activities or educational opportunities.
